Pablo Boeri June 12, 2018

Pablo Boeri, will travel with the agronomists in the Southeast Region. He is completing the second year of a MS degree at the University of Florida under the direction of Dr. J. Bryan Unruh. Pablo’s thesis focuses on the development of new bahiagrass genotypes for improved turf quality.

A native of Argentina, Pablo’s passion for turfgrass was cultivated through his time working in the turfgrass industry after completing his undergraduate studies in Buenos Aires. During his time as a research assistant at the University of Florida, Pablo conducted numerous turfgrass experiments, participated in extension activities and conferences, and published an extension article on bermudagrass mite management to help golf course superintendents with this pest issue.

After the completion of his MS degree, Pablo intends to pursue a doctorate and one day work as a research and extension specialist supporting the turfgrass industry.
